Phil & Teds latest baby, the Explorer, has been carefully designed, using years of learning from the earlier versions to combine everything parents have ever asked for. This all new Explorer has many new features making life easier for the parent and even more comfortable for the little ones while travelling over any terrain.
Double or Single Explorer Buggy
The Phil & Teds Explorer will adapt to your family without any fuss! As a single buggy baby can use the buggy lying completely flat either facing the parent or facing away. As a double buggy baby can travel on the front in a car seat or in the main seat unit with the older child in the second seat on top!
Once baby wishes to sit up, baby is moved to the second seat. This is attached behind the main seat with the older / bigger child in the front main seat. The shaped, ventilated supportive backrest of the main seat can easily be adjusted with a simple one handed clip to any recline position. The seat is fitted with a comfortable, washable padded liner in the colour of your choice; additional liners are available in black only.
The main seat is able to accommodate baby right through to around 5 years, or 25kg.
The Second Seat / Double Kit is suitable up to a weight of 15kg and has a small protective hood fitted.
The Phil & Teds Explorer has been fitted with a new 5 point harness that is easily adjusted into a choice of 3 height settings to ensure safety. The harness has padding on shoulders to ensure total comfort for baby or toddler.
Phil & Teds Explorer has a new style hood with visor and pockets which can be used in a number of different positions to protect baby from the sun. Should further protection be needed a sun mesh or storm cover are available.
Explorer Single Hand Fold
The new P&T Explorer has been fitted with an all new quick release fold that can be easily done single handed. Once folded as with all P&T’s buggies through the years the Explorer folds to a very compact size.
Explorer Wheels
Rear wheels are fitted with a quick release system, so should you need an even more compact fold or the wheels are muddy a simple push button will remove them. The front swivel wheel makes manoeuvring the Explorer very light and simple. When going over rough terrain or gravel the front wheel can be easily locked in a fixed position.
Large Wheel Guards
To help protect from wet and mud the Explorer has been fitted with large mud guards on all 3 wheels. The front foot well is made from moulded plastic making it hard wearing and easily cleaned.
Explorer Travel System
Should you wish to use the Explorer as a travel system this requires you to purchase a simple adaptor kit. The Explorer adaptor kit is available for the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix and Pebble car seat or for the Phil & Teds Bebe car seat.
The Explorer travel system can be fitted on to the chassis with the seat fabric making it easy to decide how baby will travel for each outing.
(It is also is possible to use the travel system with the second child seat for new born and toddler)
If your family expands to two children, the Explorer Buggy will happily change and adapt with just the small expense of a second child seat.
A carry bag is also available for safe storage while travelling by plane. This bag has shoulder straps making it possible to hold the hands of 2 children and carry the buggy!

We are a family company specialising in high quality baby products. We set up Olivers Babycare in 1993 following the birth of our second daughter, Laura, who arrived at just 32 weeks. This caught us out in more ways than one! At the very least, we had not purchased many of the essential items for our new baby.
Our experiences in the ensuing weeks gave us the inspiration for Olivers Babycare. We were unable to find many of the products we needed locally in Winchester, so we set up our own shop named after its location at Olivers Battery. We sold prams, cots, highchairs, the sort of bulky essential items you need for a baby.
Soon the message about Olivers Babycare was travelling beyond Winchester and in 2002 we decided to boost the business with its own website. With a few more years under our belts, the business began to outgrow its nest. In 2007 we relocated the website operation to larger premises in Devon. This has allowed us to increase the range of products that we sell, and to improve our customer service even further.
With the changing nature of retailing, we decided in the summer of 2011 to close our Winchester shop and to concentrate on our online store. Our customer base continues to grow, throughout the U.K. and in countries all around the world.
Both our daughters, Emily and Laura, are involved with the family business, and like us, they feel privileged to help other families as new babies arrive and parents choose the best products for their child. We think we must be doing something right, as happy customers are still naming their babies "Oliver".
Hi, I felt I had to write to you regarding your pushchair parts service. Excellent isn't enough to describe it. Got advice from you yesterday, ordered and paid for part yesterday and received the part today, wow. Took me half a minute to fit part and problem solved. As someone who sells refurbed pushchairs, I know who I will be using in future for my parts.

In July 2010 we ordered a Babystyle Oyster Pram from you. We were extremely pleased with the pram until the brake stopped working last month. When we called you to find out how much it would cost to have the pram fixed, you promised to find out what could be done. I didn't expect much of a response, especially as we had bought the pram over 18 months ago and it was well out of warranty. However, within 24 hours you called back to say that Babystyle would fix the pram free of charge and return it within a week. This sounded far too good to be true, but the pram was indeed picked up to be fixed. Not only this, but it was fitted with a brand new mechanism and returned to us within an incredible 48 hours.
The lady at Olivers who organised the repair was extremely polite, helpful and true to her word. She promised to call back on several occasions and always did so, and she even took the time to try to find out what time the courier would pick up the pram so that I wouldn't have to wait at home with a small child all day.
It is refreshing to be able to say that it has been a real pleasure sorting out such an inconvenient problem, and we will certainly recommend your company and the Oyster pram to our friends and family in the future. We will also be thanking Babystyle for repairing the pram.
Please, please don't lose this fantastic attention to customer service - it is what every customer hopes for, but it is sadly so rare to find these days!
