Phil & Teds Classic 3 Wheel Buggy - This buggy can be used as a single or with the optional double kit added will take 2 children.

The Classic has an amazing ability to become whatever buggy you want. In the single form one child can be accommodated from birth with baby lying completely flat, right the way through to around five years of age or 25kg without you ever needing another buggy. The adjustable handle will allow for comfortable walking whatever your height. The ezy-seat can be used in an upright mid or fully reclined position. A five-point harness to keep baby safe is fitted in the seat, this harness is used for the fitting of the optional seat liners or sleeping bag. The seat unit is suspended from the chassis so baby or toddler will always get a smooth and comfortable ride whatever the terrain. A large basket under the explorer will carry a good amount of nappies, bottles and shopping.

An optional cocoon is available to make putting your newborn into the buggy easy, this is a soft fabric cot with handles, when used as a single buggy the cocoon can be placed in place so that baby is facing mum. The top cover is zippered both sides so that you can reach baby easily and regulate temperature if required

Phil & Teds Double Kit

If your circumstances change or maybe you have an older child already, and a baby on the way, then the Classic will change and adapt with you. With the simple addition of the Phil and Ted's double kit – the single turns into double - but without the age old problems of being too wide, too long, too heavy - Phil & Teds unique system gives you a perfect solution to a double buggy.

The double kit is an additional seat with a full five point harness this is fitted to the front of the buggy at the point where the bumper bar is fitted, this takes the larger or older child, the baby goes behind in the main seat in its reclined position. Baby is placed under feet first, so allowing constant eye contact with mum. Your older child has always been important and being on top “as driver” this reassures them that it is still the case. Baby being tucked away means you can travel quickly through town without strangers stopping you to see and touch the baby- possibly ignoring your toddler! Sounds strange I know but feed back from our customers bears this out.

Once the baby needs to be sat up, usually around 6 months, the top seat is removed the bumper bar is replaced, the main seat fabric is folded and clipped into place to form the big persons seat - still on top! The double kit seat is then placed behind the main seat so that the baby still has eye contact with the parent. If your toddler decides that they wish to walk that is not a problem baby simply goes into the main seat and the double kit can remain in the car or at home, you do not then need to purchase a new single buggy or sell the double one.

Folding the Classic Buggy

The Phil & Ted fold on the Classic is one of the quickest and easiest of systems and to shrink it smaller the 3 wheels are easily removed, with the use of the optional carry bag with the wheels protuding can be pulled along while holding your toddlers hand!! - you really are ready to travel.

Go anywhere, anytime

The Classic is a definite all terrain buggy the front wheel is swivel for flat and even ground but is simply locked to a fixed position to allow you to cover rough terrain, our feedback over the years has shown the Classic to be a very capable and reliable buggy. Keep the pneumatic 12” tyres pumped up to repel anything that might want to puncture and head for the countryside or beach. Use it and enjoy it.
