Quinny Zapp Xtra Buggy  - Suitable from birth, forward and rearward facing, reclining, compact, lightweight buggy, compatible with Pebble & Cabriofix car seats, complete with car seat adaptors and raincover.

Zapp Xtra with fully reclinable seat suitable from birth facing parent or forwards, the Zapp chassis can also be used with the Cabriofix or Pebble baby car seats to form a compact travel system.

Zapp Extra Seat Unit

The seat unit of the Zapp Xtra is removed from the chassis to allow the chassis to fold to a compact square, the rigid framed seat unit fits easily onto the chassis. The Zapp Xtra seat can be placed on the chassis facing the parent or forward. The Xtra seat can be fully reclined to allow your newborn to take a nap in comfort. The Zapp Xtra hood is well designed to offer protection from sun and wind.

When forward facing there are 3 recline positions in the rear facing there are 2 recline positions, this is easily altered with a single hand at the rear of the seat.

The Zapp Xtra seat is fitted with a fully adjustable 5 point harness to keep baby or toddler safe and secure.

Zapp Basket

The shopping basket, Maxi Cosi car seat adaptors are included with the Zapp Xtra.

Zapp Xtra Chassis

The fold of the Zapp Xtra is very clever and will seem daunting the first time but will become very straightforward very quickly. The Zapp has a weight of just 6 kg and the folded size of the chassis is just 30cm x 27cm x 69cm, the seat unit then needs to be stowed separately.

For the child's comfort suspension has been added to the rear wheels.

The manoeuvrable front swivel wheels can be locked when going over rougher terrain or during a trip to the beach.

Optional - Orginal Zapp Seat

Once baby reaches 6 months the original fabric Zapp seat can be fitted to the chassis to allow the Zapp to fold compactly as one piece. The original Zapp seat does not have a recline and is only forward facing. Available only in Rocking Black.

    The Zapp Xtra is really lightweight which is great when you have to get it in and out of the car a lot and to push it is very easy.

    It looks really good too and can be used both parent facing and outward facing which is perfect as your child gets older. Can be used from birth with the Maxi Cosi car seat or the seat unit included.

    Great for popping to the shops with as very easy to maneuvre (as long as you have both hands free).

    Pros: Lightweight and easy to push, looks really good and is suitable from birth. Easy to put together.

    Cons: Two part system means you have to take apart to get in and out of car. Handle hight is quite low which is not great for taller parents. Not much storage space in the basket. Not very easy to steer with one hand.

    I have been using the Quinny Zapp Xtra for a few months and I love how easy it is to zip around town with this lightweight buggy. I have a bigger boot so I don't mind the two part fold, but that might not be for everyone. It is one of the smallest buggys i have pushed that doesn't feel like it is going to snap! really happy with my Quinny and my 8 month girl loves it better than our 800 GBP pram!

    I was one of 25 lucky people to be chosen as a Quinny Caster. The Quinny Xtra is the latest model from Quinny and comes in Rebel Red or Rocking Black. I choose the black as it goes with everything. I am really glad I choose black as I have now bought a fantastic orange and pink footmuff, which looks amazing!
    The Xtra is amazing as it has a reversible seat - I love having Erin facing me, as at aged just one, she still finds me as the best thing to look at!!
    The buggy is suitable from birth with its lie flat feature. Having tried a few different models of pushchair this is the first that Erin has actually managed to sleep in. The Maxi Cosi pebble is compatible with the Xtra. The hood is probably the deepest hood I have ever seen as well which is great for blocking out the sun, but also for when napping.
    The whole unit is really lightweight and compact – in fact the smallest buggy I have ever seen. Therefore it is just perfect for having in the car. As the seat is reversible the only downside to the buggy is that the seat unit has to be taken off when folding the buggy.
    The brake system is also really good, it has two simple pedals, one for stopping and one for starting! I find the buggy so easy to push, partly due to have a double wheel at the front, it means that when you lift onto a kerb you do not have the wobble that many other three wheelers leave you with.
    As you can tell I love my Quinny Xtra and will continue to use it long after the product test has finished, I think it offers great value for money. It is a stylish lightweight buggy, designed to meet the needs of busy mum and dad’s. It also has lots of funky extras. I earlier referred to the footmuff I have just got. Wow - this has received so many comments from the mums at school! It is like a gigantic sleeping bag and Erin adores being snuggled up in it during with cold weather!

We are a family company specialising in high quality baby products. We set up Olivers Babycare in 1993 following the birth of our second daughter, Laura, who arrived at just 32 weeks. This caught us out in more ways than one! At the very least, we had not purchased many of the essential items for our new baby. Our experiences in the ensuing weeks gave us the inspiration for Olivers Babycare. We were unable to find many of the products we needed locally in Winchester, so we set up our own shop named after its location at Olivers Battery. We sold prams, cots, highchairs, the sort of bulky essential items you need for a baby. Soon the message about Olivers Babycare was travelling beyond Winchester and in 2002 we decided to boost the business with its own website. With a few more years under our belts, the business began to outgrow its nest. In 2007 we relocated the website operation to larger premises in Devon. This has allowed us to increase the range of products that we sell, and to improve our customer service even further. With the changing nature of retailing, we decided in the summer of 2011 to close our Winchester shop and to concentrate on our online store. Our customer base continues to grow, throughout the U.K. and in countries all around the world. Both our daughters, Emily and Laura, are involved with the family business, and like us, they feel privileged to help other families as new babies arrive and parents choose the best products for their child. We think we must be doing something right, as happy customers are still naming their babies "Oliver".
Hi, I felt I had to write to you regarding your pushchair parts service. Excellent isn't enough to describe it. Got advice from you yesterday, ordered and paid for part yesterday and received the part today, wow. Took me half a minute to fit part and problem solved. My husband and I would like to thank you for your outstanding customer service.
In July 2010 we ordered a Babystyle Oyster Pram from you. We were extremely pleased with the pram until the brake stopped working last month. When we called you to find out how much it would cost to have the pram fixed, you promised to find out what could be done. I didn't expect much of a response, especially as we had bought the pram over 18 months ago and it was well out of warranty. However, within 24 hours you called back to say that Babystyle would fix the pram free of charge and return it within a week. This sounded far too good to be true, but the pram was indeed picked up to be fixed. Not only this, but it was fitted with a brand new mechanism and returned to us within an incredible 48 hours.
The lady at Olivers who organised the repair was extremely polite, helpful and true to her word. She promised to call back on several occasions and always did so, and she even took the time to try to find out what time the courier would pick up the pram so that I wouldn't have to wait at home with a small child all day.
It is refreshing to be able to say that it has been a real pleasure sorting out such an inconvenient problem, and we will certainly recommend your company and the Oyster pram to our friends and family in the future. We will also be thanking Babystyle for repairing the pram.
Please, please don't lose this fantastic attention to customer service - it is what every customer hopes for, but it is sadly so rare to find these days!
