Seed PLI Pram / Pushchair - Contemporary, Scandinavian designed pushchair.

No you're not imagining it... this really is a pram with skis! This superb modern all-in-one pram and pushchair, the new Seed Pli, has snow runners (or mini skis) that can fit onto the front wheels.

Of course, you may not need skis if the sun is shining, and there are plenty of other reasons why this Scandinavian designed pushchair stands out from the crowd. The Seed Pli is strong and sleek, it looks great and it folds up small. The skis are just the icing on the cake! (Please see separate page to purchase the skis.)

The Pli pram is a great design. Contemporary and individual but highly functional. Use it as a pram when baby is small, with the carrycot body, and then convert it into an eye catching pushchair when baby is old enough to sit up. You'll certainly catch some admiring glances with this design.

The Seed Pli is designed to be used from birth, up to the age of about 3 years, (15 kg).

Chassis

Choose from two chassis options. You can have the big fixed wheels or smaller swivel wheels, which are good if you are about town. The big wheels are ideal for rougher terrain.

If you buy the big wheeled chassis, you can purchase the swivel wheels as an extra. (Please note, if you plan to use the snow runners, these only fit onto the big wheels.)

The chassis frame is made from high grade aluminium and a range of flight industry plastics and alloy for the fittings. The frame is extremely strong and durable. The handlebar is ergonomically designed. The easy to use foot brake is positioned higher than on many prams, which is good for someone with a big stride.

Collapsible Frame

One of the great design characteristics of this pram/pushchair is that it folds up so small.

When folded, the chassis including the wheels, it measures, 83 (L) x 58 (W) x 20 (H) cm. The seat unit/cot is detached for the neatest fold.

The weight of the pushchair is 11.6 kg.

Carrycot

The comfortable carrycot body clips easily onto the chassis to produce a safe, manoeuvrable pram for your newborn. Baby can lie down in comfort, secured with a safety harness. The carrycot is made using high quality, wipe clean fabric, with its own matching apron. Please watch out for the velcro along the apron and carrycot edges - this is extremely effective and could get caught on baby's clothes when you put baby into the pram. The carrycot has a lovely deep hood that can be folded back when not required.

Pushchair

When baby is old enough (around 6 months) you will want to convert the Pli into a pushchair. (Full instructions are included.) The cleverly designed carrycot turns into a forward facing seat unit with foot rest, and safety strap. The resulting pushchair is a fabulous sleek shape, very fashionable and modern in design, with the silver line along the edge of the seat unit echoing the line of the chassis.

Space for shopping

The modern design of the Seed Pli means there is plenty of space for shopping underneath the seat unit. A specially shaped bag, which fits snugly into the space, is available from Olivers Babycare.

Safety standards

The Seed Pli has passed or exceeded the following required safety standards:

EN 1888:2003+A1/A2/A3:2005, AS 2088:2000 og BS 7409:1996.
