Phil & Teds Sport SP Double Buggy - All Terrain buggy with the facility to accomodate one or two children.
The Sport SP has an easy to adjust handle, mud guards on the wheels and a recline to both seat units. A change to the harness will please some and annoy others as the old harness was easier to undo, while the new style is more secure.
A wide choice of colours helps to disguise the fact that most outdoor orientated families push a Phil & Teds, as it is able to do the job with little fuss, with a long life as the buggy happily returns to a single buggy when the older child agrees to walk. An all terrain 3 wheel buggy, it is fitted with a lockable front swivel wheel and all round 12†pneumatic tyres that will ensure a comfortable ride whatever the terrain.
The Sport SP Buggy will adapt to your family without any fuss! The first baby can use the buggy lying completely flat either facing the parent or facing away. Baby can be lying directly on the seat fabric or tucked snugly into a cocoon carrier, or for the summer lying on a soft natural lambskin. Both of these can be purchased as accessories. Whichever way, baby will be gently rocked to sleep in the free swinging seat unit.
Once baby wishes to sit-up, the seat can be raised using a combination of zips and clips to achieve a comfortable position. The seat is able to accommodate baby right through to around 4 years, or 25kg.
The Sport SP has been fitted with a new 5 point harness to keep your baby/toddler or child safely in place. The front bumper bar is always a favourite with toddlers giving them something to hold on to. The hood will help to protect baby from the weather and has UV protected windows.
Should further protection be needed a sun mesh or storm cover are available. These cover the buggy either as a single or double. Double Buggy The Sport will change and adapt simply and easily.
Should you have a newborn baby and a toddler, the main seat is fully reclined. Baby is then placed in the seat with feet forwards and face up towards the handle. The additional double kit is then fitted onto the front of the buggy into the bumper bar slots. This seat is for the older child and has a five point harness to keep the toddler safe.
Once baby is old enough to sit up the front seat is removed. It is then fitted on the back of the buggy. The toddler is then placed in the main seat and the baby goes into the extra seat behind the toddler, still having eye contact with parent.
The fold is very simple and makes a compact shape. A carry bag is also available for safe storage while travelling by plane. This bag has shoulder straps making it possible to hold the hands of 2 children and carry the buggy!
