Safe T Sleep Sleepwrap - Hospital tested high quality pure cotton baby wrap designed to keep baby sleeping in a safe position.
This wrap holds baby in the correct position without the use of any booster cushions or wedges
As a student nurse in Accident and Emergency in a New Zealand hospital, Miriam had been shocked to see the injuries caused to children who fell out of bed - broken wrists and arms, leg and head injuries.
When her first child started climbing out of his cot, she designed a simple safety wrap attached to the bed sheet, which kept him safe while he was in his cot... This was developed into the Safe T Sleep sleepwrap.
Safe for a Sleeping Baby :
Babies can get themselves into all sorts of potentially dangerous positions when they are supposed to be sleeping. For example, getting stuck in a corner, crawling under the blanket, getting tangled in the bedclothes, trying to climb out of the cot, and sometimes succeeding.
This cleverly designed, easy to use Safe T Sleep sleepwrap will keep your baby sleeping in a comfortable and safe position. It will give you peace or mind and also give your baby (and you) a better night's sleep.
How the Safe T Sleep Sleepwrap works :
The all in one size is suitable for use from birth to around 3 years old. It can be used anywhere, eg in the cot, on holiday, in a caravan, on a boat. If you do not have access to a cot on a night away from home, you can put the sleepwrap onto a normal bed, safe in the knowledge that baby cannot roll off the bed.
The wrap is securely attached to a sheet which fits over the bed mattress in the usual way. The wrap goes around baby's tummy and is secured with velcro at the edge. Baby's arms, legs and head are free to move, but baby can't crawl or move around the bed. Babies, particularly young babies, like the feeling of being swaddled or wrapped tightly, as this gives them a sense of security.
Medical benefits :
Helps prevent suffocation, due to blankets over the face, or getting stuck in a corner of the cot. Helps stop baby sleeping on the tummy. Experts advise that babies should sleep on their backs to reduce the risk of Cot Death. Helps prevent skull deformities including 'flat head'.
The design is backed by paediatric cranio-facial specialists. Helps prevent babies and toddlers falling out of their crib, cot or bed.
Fabric Made from 100% cotton, the sleepwrap is warm in winter and cool in summer.
