Maxi Cosi Loola Pram & Travel System - Comprising compact fold buggy, Cabriofix or Pebble car seat, and co-ordinating carrycot.

The Loola has one of the most compact folds of any pram in this class and will fit in many small cars. As the fold is telescopic the length is reduced as well as the width, fitting across the boot where a normal buggy will often be too wide.

The Loola is supplied with Hood, Basket, Raincover and adaptors for the fitting of the Cabriofix or Pebble baby car seat

Loola Chassis

The Loola Chassis has three positions for the handles that changes their height and the appearance of the buggy. The wheels have all round suspension for baby's comfort, and can be used with the front ones swiveling or fixed in line. To change the setting, a simple switch slides up or down the chassis up close to the buggy's handles doing away with the need to bend over the front of the buggy and touch grubby wheels.

Should you wish to add a parasol, the chassis has a built in holder for this on each side. This is simply pulled out and moved to the side, the parasol then snaps into place. A shopping basket is found below the buggy.

Access is restricted a little when the seat unit is facing you but once turned to face away access is much improved. The brakes are linked and are put on and off by pressing a peddle (red for stop, blue for go). This can be done while wearing open toe shoes or flipflops unlike most buggies.

When it is folded, the Loola buggy forms a very compact size, even fitting into a Ford KA boot! 26 x 30 x 92cm and will free stand. With a chassis weight of 10kgs, it makes a very manageable unit.

Loola Rearward Or Forward Facing Seat Unit

When baby is newborn it is better if baby faces the parent. With the Loola this is possible. The seat unit is a simple 'one click' onto the chassis, and can be placed either way. The Loola is supplied with hood and raincover to protect from the weather. The raincover is simply zipped into place, on the front of the hood. The seat is one-hand adjustable into 3 seating positions, and is sufficiently flat for a newborn.

The five point harness will keep baby or troublesome toddler safe and secure. Toddlers enjoy holding tight to the bumper bar across the front; the cover on this is easily removed for washing.

Loola Carrycot

The Loola carrycot will allow baby to travel in a completly comfortable flat position tucked up with traditional sheets and blankets. The Loola carrycot is supplied with washable cotton liner and comfort mattress. The hood and apron will protect baby from the wind or sun.

The Loola carrycot is available in colours to co-ordinate with the Loola pushchair, and a raincover is available as an option to protect from rain.

The Loola carrycot will fit on the Loola chassis easily making it quick and easy to move baby into when going shopping or an outing.

Maxi Cosi Cabriofix Car Seat

The Cabriofix is always used in the car REAR-FACING and not with an active air bag, if an airbag is present, the back of the car is the safest place. The Cabriofix is fitted with an easy to use 3-point baby harness; this can be adjusted from a single pull to be a perfect fit for each journey.

The CabrioFix baby car seat has been built to give baby the optimum safety while travelling by car; it has not been designed to be used as a baby chair to be used for long periods in the home. The deep sides will protect from side impacts while the adjustable cushion will give support to the new born baby, offering a semi reclined position. A head hugger is included to help keep the tiny baby in a comfortable position; this should be removed at around 4 months.

Maxi Cosi Pebble Baby Car Seat

Infant car seat suitable from birth to 13kg around 12 months rear facing in the car fitting with seat belts or the Familyfix base from Maxi Cosi.

The lightweight Pebble car seat has been carefully designed to protect baby during the first year of car travel. The deep side wings will protect baby from side impacts while the deep seat will support baby during front impacts.
The Pebble has a fully height adjustable harness and head support. The Pebble has a ‘stay-open’ single pull harness making it possible to easily place and secure baby for every journey.
The newborn baby will lie comfortably on the newborn baby support that can be removed at around 4 months. The doughnut shaped head hugger will help to protect baby’s head from ‘flat head’ a condition that has not been helped by the extended use of baby car seats in the home.
A storage box is found in the back of the Pebble to ensure you always have that emergency nappy or baby wipes!

Fitting the Car Seat into the Using Optional Bases

The CabrioFix baby car seat can be used in conjuntion with one of two different bases available, to make fitting quick and easy.

The EasyBase 2 is fitted using the standard 3-point adult seat belts, this makes fitting the seat in small 3 door cars quick and easy - eliminating the need to get into the back of the car when fitting or removing the seat. The fit of the base is straightforward and makes a good, rigid fit to the car seat; a foot drops from the base to the floor of the car to prevent any dipping movement.

The EasyFix base can simply attach to the Isofix fittings that you may have in the car - or the adult 3 point seat belt . Attaching the Easyfix base to the Isofix points is simple; a colour indicator will show that the installation has been carried out correctly. A support leg will drop to the floor this also has indicators for a correct fit; this leg prevents the seat dipping during any impact it should not prop the car seat up but simply rest against the floor pan.

The FamilyFix base - Isofix mounted child car seat base, designed to accept the Pebble and the Pearl Car Seats. 

This base will allow you to easily fit the Pebble 0+ baby car seat and the stage 1 Pearl child car seat from Maxi Cosi on to the Isofix fitting in your car.

The FamilyFix base is fited to the car using the Isofix points found in many modern cars. These Isofix fittings are integral to the build of the car, the hooks are attached to the car chassis, when the Family Fix base is attached to these fittings it becomes extremely stable and secure.
