We have compiled this help and advice section to give, we hope, practical tips - not from professional bodies or organisations, but from personal knowledge and experiences of pregnancy and parenting.
We have drawn on our years as parents of 2 children and our considerable experience of working within the nursery industry. Please treat the advice you read here as being the sort of advice you might receive if you were asking a friend rather than your health visitor.

Personal Parenting & Product Advice

Breast feeding, bottle feeding and bathing are based on our own experiences and we hope by reading the section some of your fears about these subjects will be dispelled, the message we are trying to impart is relax, it may all be new to you, but don't panic.
Car safety seats are a special passion of ours; we have spent years trying to get parents to understand the importance of fitting the correct seat for their car and fitting that seat following the manufacturers' instructions carefully; in some cases, simply trying to get a parent or grandparent to use a car seat.
Our car seat section gives you the weights at which your child will change from seat to seat, the differences between the different seats and underlines the message - always use the child seat however short the journey might be, always use the correct stage seat for the child being carried.
The law now demands that any child on any journey until 12 years or 135cm must be placed on a car seat correct for their weight.
