Every year around 40,000 children up to the age of 4 years end up in Accident and Emergency with injuries caused by accidents in the kitchen. The Little Helper Funpod can help keep your child safe and secure in the kitchen, while still allowing them to interact and play.

The award-winning FunPod was designed by a family who themselves nearly had an accident in the kitchen with a hot pan involving their own toddler. During a meal with friends they came up with the solution of a wooden surround into which the child could be placed out of harms way, but at the right height to be included in the fun of cooking but needing to provide a safe stable environment.

Adjustable heights

No more trying to balance precariously on a chair while in the kitchen with mum or dad. The FunPod is an enclosed space that can be adjusted in height to ensure the youngster can reach the worktop with the top of the pod at chest height. The Funpod has five different levels for the footplate. Your child can then be included in the kitchen activities, using the worktop space for drawing, cooking, painting even washing-up. When the adult is moving around the kitchen the child is safely away from getting under your feet causing a potential hazard.

Strong and safe

The Funpod is made in a strong wood-like material, available in a variety of finishes. The item is delivered flat packed, and easy to assemble. Once assembled, the Funpod is sturdy and stable, and will not tip up. Your child can stand up safely, able to join in with activities in the kitchen, but out of harm's way.

Practical

The Funpod is easy to clean. There is a hole in the bottom for any mess to drop through. The unit can be wiped clean with warm, soapy water.

When using the FunPod it is important to clear the surface of any potential hazards like knives, flexes, electrical appliances etc.
