The Dusky Moon Dream Tubes Bed Guard - A clever alternative to bed rails these Dream Tubes keep your child safely in their bed.
Created by two mums, Amanda Allerton and Venetia Fuller,as an alternative to bed rails - this innovative and cosy bed guard is an alternative to the traditional upright guard that is fixed to the edge of a child's bed. The Dream Tubes® bed guard was featured on Radio 2's Chris Evans show on Friday 30th January 2009, when Alison and Venetia were invited into the studio to describe and demonstrate how the Dream Tubes® worked.
The Dream Tubes® guard system provides soft padded cushions along each side of the bed, preventing your child from rolling out during the night. It also keeps any toys in the bed, as well as the duvet! This will help to ease the transition for your child from cot to big bed.
Easy to use
The bed guard consists of a fitted sheet with two integral pockets down each side. Two inflatable non-toxic PVC tubes fit into these pockets and can then be blown up, and zipped securely in place. Your child can safely lie against them, and will find the soft, cushioned shape comforting and reassuring.
Ideal for Travel
The Dream Tubes® are great if you are going away for a short trip or holiday, or staying with relatives. The bed guard system is lightweight and compact, and will fold up to the size of a beach towel - could this be an alternative to carrying a travel cot?
Fabric
The sheet is made from 100% pure cotton, 233 weave. This will fit any standard single bed.
Care
The Dream Tubes® sheet can be machine washed at up to 60 degrees C.
Safety Standards
The product has been extensively tested over 18 months and conforms to British Safety Standard BS7972 for children's bed guards, and to all applicable parts of EN71.
Packaging
The Dream Tubes® set is packaged in a clear PVC blanket bag, with navy binding, zip and rope handle, (40 cm wide x 28 cm high x 5 cm deep).
