Recaro Young Expert Plus Child Car Seat - Suitable from around 1 year to around 4 years the shell is made from energy absorbing materials providing protection to the head and body.
The Recaro Young Expert Plus car seat has a 5 point, one pull harness to ensure a perfect fit whatever clothing the child is wearing; this harness can be easily adjusted and has three height settings. When the recline feature is used baby or toddler will have a comfortable sleeping position, only the seat and back surface move, keeping the unit securely in position in the car.
The Young Expert child car seat can be fitted using the car's 3-point adult seat belt, this can only be achieved if the seat belt mountings are short into the vehicle seat, long webbing straps are not suitable.
The routing of the seat belt is simple with the seat shell coming apart leaving plenty of space and a good view of the seat belt guides to ensure correct routing. When the front section is dropped back into place the seat belt is automaticaly tightened removing any slack. If the car is fitted with Isofix fittings a base is available to allow the seat to be fitted to to the base with a simple 'click'.
The Recaro children's car seat is finished with a choice of fabrics - Bellini this has a suede like texture or the Microfibre fabric, this has a luxury, velvet like texture, new for 2010 is a punched version of the Bellini fabric helping to keep the child cool.
All Recaro fabrics are fully machine washable at 30 degrees.
Optional Recaro Isofix Base
The Recaro Isofix base is easily fitted to the mounting points in the car, making a secure direct link between the car chassis and the child car seat. These fittings are put in place at the time of manufacture and cannot be retro fitted, so it is important to do a physical check that they are fitted in your car before ordering.
Using the Isofix fittings provides a direct link between the vehicle bodyshell and the child seat so provides optimum protection.
The base will give clear indication that it is fitted correctly, showing green flashes; once the base is fitted the child seat is easily clipped into the base.
