Britax Baby-Safe Baby Car Seat - 2012 - A 0+ rear-facing infant carrier, giving baby protection when travelling in the car. Suitable for use as part of a Britax travel system.
This infant carrier is designed to give baby the best possible protection while travelling in the car during those first months of life. Suitable for baby from birth to 13kg, the Baby-Safe can be easily fitted into the car using the adult 3 point seat belts - rearward facing and preferably in the rear seats of the car.
Baby-Safe Adjustable Car Seat
The Baby Safe car seat is fitted with a 5 point harness system, not common to this stage seat. The Baby-Safe harness is easy to use with a single pull adjustment found to the front; ensuring baby is secure for every journey. The larger padded side wings offer excellent comfort and plenty of side impact protection so important in the event of an accident. A padded head support is included and the integral cushion will help baby to maintain an upright position.
Baby-Safe Rocker Base
The baby car seat rocking base will allow you soothe baby when in the home, the carry handle offers 3 comfortable carry positions as well as acting as a stabilizer should you wish the seat to be used without a rocking motion. A wind and sun canopy is fitted, a universal rain cover is available as an option to protect baby and the Baby-Safe baby car seat from rain should you require.
Baby-Safe Car Seat Fitting
The Baby-Safe baby car seat is fitted into the car rear facing using the adult 3 point seat belt with easy to locate guides around the seat and clear instructions found in the box to the front of the seat. The Baby-Safe baby car seat can be used in the front of the car as long as no active air bag is present. If used in the rear of the car it may be worth investing in a small additional mirror to give peace of mind that all is well when driving.
To keep the Baby-Safe baby car seat as light as possible it has not been fitted with the Isofix bars, so can NOT be used with either of the Britax base options.
The Baby-Safe is Britax travel system compatible although you will need to purchase the adaptors to use it on any of the Britax chassis' to form a travel system.

We are a family company specialising in high quality baby products. We set up Olivers Babycare in 1993 following the birth of our second daughter, Laura, who arrived at just 32 weeks. This caught us out in more ways than one! At the very least, we had not purchased many of the essential items for our new baby.
Our experiences in the ensuing weeks gave us the inspiration for Olivers Babycare. We were unable to find many of the products we needed locally in Winchester, so we set up our own shop named after its location at Olivers Battery. We sold prams, cots, highchairs, the sort of bulky essential items you need for a baby.
Soon the message about Olivers Babycare was travelling beyond Winchester and in 2002 we decided to boost the business with its own website. With a few more years under our belts, the business began to outgrow its nest. In 2007 we relocated the website operation to larger premises in Devon. This has allowed us to increase the range of products that we sell, and to improve our customer service even further.
With the changing nature of retailing, we decided in the summer of 2011 to close our Winchester shop and to concentrate on our online store. Our customer base continues to grow, throughout the U.K. and in countries all around the world.
Both our daughters, Emily and Laura, are involved with the family business, and like us, they feel privileged to help other families as new babies arrive and parents choose the best products for their child. We think we must be doing something right, as happy customers are still naming their babies "Oliver".
Hi, I felt I had to write to you regarding your pushchair parts service. Excellent isn't enough to describe it. Got advice from you yesterday, ordered and paid for part yesterday and received the part today, wow. Took me half a minute to fit part and problem solved. As someone who sells refurbed pushchairs, I know who I will be using in future for my parts.

In July 2010 we ordered a Babystyle Oyster Pram from you. We were extremely pleased with the pram until the brake stopped working last month. When we called you to find out how much it would cost to have the pram fixed, you promised to find out what could be done. I didn't expect much of a response, especially as we had bought the pram over 18 months ago and it was well out of warranty. However, within 24 hours you called back to say that Babystyle would fix the pram free of charge and return it within a week. This sounded far too good to be true, but the pram was indeed picked up to be fixed. Not only this, but it was fitted with a brand new mechanism and returned to us within an incredible 48 hours.
The lady at Olivers who organised the repair was extremely polite, helpful and true to her word. She promised to call back on several occasions and always did so, and she even took the time to try to find out what time the courier would pick up the pram so that I wouldn't have to wait at home with a small child all day.
It is refreshing to be able to say that it has been a real pleasure sorting out such an inconvenient problem, and we will certainly recommend your company and the Oyster pram to our friends and family in the future. We will also be thanking Babystyle for repairing the pram.
Please, please don't lose this fantastic attention to customer service - it is what every customer hopes for, but it is sadly so rare to find these days!
