Babystyle Lux 2 in 1 pram - Adaptable, traditional 2 in 1 pram.

This is a gorgeous and versatile pram from BabyStyle, beautifully designed using the highest quality materials, which will cut a dash whether you are in Kensington High Street or on a woodland walk in the country. The pram is suitable from birth. When your baby is big enough, the pram converts to a stylish and roomy pushchair which can be used until baby is around 3 or 4 years old. There is a choice of two different chassis designs, so that you can choose the chassis that is most suitable for your lifestyle.

You can create a travel system by simply adding a coordinated BabyStyle car seat with adaptor. (The chassis is also suitable for Britax car seats which come with their own adaptor and have been designed to co-ordinate with the Lux colours.) BabyStyle car seats and Britax car seats are also available from Olivers Babycare.

The Lux 2 in 1 Pram is available in three stunning and smart colours: Aero White, Bubble Black and New Line Green. Each has a stylish, simple design, made from top quality fabric that can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

Seat / Bed Unit

While baby is very young, you will want him/her to lie flat on the seat unit. (The sleeping area is 31 cm x 27 cm.) The unit is comfortable and well padded. The easily fitted bed extension will instantly create a carrycot environment.

When baby is approx 5 or 6 months old, you may want to put the seat into an upright position, in pushchair mode. The seat can face forwards or backwards. The seat has a multi-positional back rest, from fully reclined to a good upright position for the older child. The footrest is adjustable giving a completely flat sleeping position for the younger child/toddler, and dropping down to support the older child's feet.

Hood

The hood on the 2 in 1 is beautifully deep and roomy. There is a mesh panel across the middle on the inside to increase air flow. For warmer days, when you have the hood pushed back, the lower part of the hood can be detached, to enable the hood to be folded down lower.

Accessories

The pram comes with a colour co-ordinated luxurious fleece-lined footmuff. This can be easily fitted into the seat unit using the 5-point harness and can be used during the summer as a seat liner.

Chassis Options

There are two chassis options to go with the Lux 2 in 1: the classic or the swivel wheel S3D.

Classic Chassis

The Classic chassis is of the traditional sprung 4 wheel design complete with large shopping tray. The handle height can be adjusted from 65 to 110cm. The baby will get a gentle bouncy ride as you push whatever the terrain. Perfect to lull them off to sleep.

The chassis is available in a choice of finish: a 22mm Champagne, 25mm Graphite, 25mm Glitter or a 22mm Chrome finish .(The chrome will need just a small amount of furniture polish to stay gleaming for many years.)

The chassis will fold down flat measuring 40 x 62 x 83cm and has a weight of 9kg for the glitter painted option and 11.5kg for the chrome option. The large wheels are fitted with quick release clips which will reduce the folded size by around 12cm in height.

S3D Chassis

The S3D chassis is the compact option, ideal for confined spaces. The front swivel wheels are lockable for rough terrain, and the chassis has all round suspension. The pair of buggy style handles are height adjustable from 98 to 101cm and the S3D has a total weight of 7.5kg. A large mesh basket is suspended under the buggy for shopping and essential baby equipment. When folded, the chassis measures just 34 x 41 108cm and is free standing, making it perfect for storing in the car boot.
