Baby Pink or Blue Precious Protechtor Dribble Drier - A baby wipe cloth, soft yet stll very absorbant.

The Dribble Drier is a soft chemical-free cloth that is perfect for wiping away milk or any wetness from baby's face. Unlike most muslins, this cloth is anti-bacterial.

Keeping a baby safe from germs is particularly important with premature babies and very tiny full term babies, as these babies are especially vulnerable to infection. Cloths that are used to wipe away milky dribbles from a baby's face are notorious for harbouring germs, and so it makes a lot of sense to choose one made from an anti-bacterial fabric.

The Dribble Drier is one of the range of Precious Protechtor products from Scottish company Baby Pink or Blue. The company was set up by two friends, Nicola Wilson and Lisa Ballantine, after Nicola's newborn son caught an infection at just a few hours old. Happily he recovered, but the experience led Lisa and Nicola to investigate what products were available to help tiny babies keep free from infection. Realising there was very little on the market, they set up their own company.

Fabric

The fabric used in the Precious Protechtor products is the result of extensive research and testing. It is made using so-called 'nano technology' and this allows the fabric to incorporate the mineral silver, which has naturally occurring anti-bacterial properties and kills viruses. Silver is one of the safest substances for babies and has no side effects. This fabric can help reduce the risk of catching Staphylococcus Aureus, including MRSA, E Coli and Klebsiella Pneumonia. Because the cloth does not harbour any germs, it also smells fresher than a conventional baby muslin.

Care

The Dribble Drier can be machine washed, using your normal washing powder or liquid. Washing will not affect the anti-bacterial properties of the fabric. The Dribble Drier can be air dried, or tumble dried on a 'delicate fabrics' setting.

The Dribble Drier is available in one size in pink, blue or white.

It is perfect for using to clear up any baby dribbles, milk spills or sickness, or for using under baby's head in a pram or cot.
