The plate is shaped with indented surfaces to push against, helping to get the food on to the spoon rather than chasing it around a smooth surface. The base is finished in a rubber that will help to keep the bowl firmly in place in front of the child. The sides have been shaped to prevent the bowl being picked up by the child, so that food is not wasted when the bowl is dropped.

Two spoons are included. These have soft grip chunky handles and a large round scoop shaped mouth piece. This prevents the spoon going too far into the child's mouth. A pair of eyes printed on the handles will give a fun element to the meal, as the spoons see all the food disappearing.

The Baby Bjorn plate can be washed in the dishwasher, used in the microwave, is recyclable and FDA approved.
