Mother-ease One Size Washable Nappy - White or natural washable baby nappy - one size terry towelling cotton nappy, suitable from birth to potty training.

This is a nappy that we love, It is well designed, durable, soft and will save you money! The nappy is made by Motherease and is a one size washable nappy that will fit most children through to potty training.

The One Size nappies are made from 85% cotton with 15% polyester. (The polyester is found mainly in the base weave to stop shrinkage and to increase the nappy's life.) The nappy is also available in organic cotton and bamboo. (Please see separate pages on the Olivers website for details.)

The design of the nappy means you can use it with a tiny baby. To start with you use the nappy inside out, with the relevant poppers keeping it snug. As baby gets bigger, you turn the nappy over. The range of poppers mean the nappy can grow as your baby does. You will be able to get a perfect fit whatever your baby's size, and you will find that the nappy holds everything that your child puts into it! The nappy is beautifully soft. There is no chaffing around baby's leg, as the leg openings and waist band are neatly finished with a soft binding.

The Mother-ease terry toweling cotton nappy is available in white or unbleached natural colour (off white beige).

This is placed inside the nappy to increase absorption. The liner has a stay dry top layer helping to keep moisture away from baby's skin.

Bio Liners - Disposable Liners

Disposable nappy liners will help to protect the nappy fabric from soilds and make disposal easier. The special liners will allow moisture through to the nappy.

Supplied on a roll of 100 liners - Half liner required for newborn baby, making them very cost effective.

-Nappy wrap or cover, 

This is a cover that goes on top of the cotton nappy. It will protect baby's clothing from any moisture. The wraps come in a range of sizes and you will probably need 3 of each size. It is possible to use wraps from other companies making one size nappies, mixing and matching as you please.

The only possible exception to this nappy fitting right through to potty training is babies with very tall parents. These children may find the nappies too low on the hips towards the end, and they may need an alternative for night time use. When baby is at the chubbiest stage between 7 to 10 months, the nappy will give the appearance that it is not going to last, but as soon as baby becomes mobile they slim down and the nappy fits easily again.

Motherease Air Flow Wrap - Popper Fastening

The Mother-ease Airflow wraps are available in plain white or with fun prints. The nappy covers have been produced with polyester warp knit that have been carefully laminated. The wrap is designed not to be absorbent but to protect the clothing from the moisture within the nappy.

Modern wraps are far more breathable and comfortable for baby than the old style rubber-pants, they are also longer lasting, as they do not tear or rip. The airflow wraps are fitted using the range of poppers, this gives good flexibility on leg and waist size and cannot be opened easily by baby.

The wraps can be wiped clean, rinsed by hand or even machine washed. During the washing they will not become 'stuck' to the nappies (as a wrap will that is fastened with a velcro style fitting tends to do).

Motherease Rikki Wrap - Velcro Fastening

Nappy cover, plain white or with a fun print the Rikki wrap will keep the moisture contained within the nappy.

Produced in a polyester knit fabric to the outside, with a laminated finish inside, the wrap will keep moisture safely contained within the nappy. The wrap has no cotton or other absorbent material, to draw the moisture from the nappy. The leg and waist openings are soft to the touch and can be made to a perfect fit with the wide Velcro style fitting.

The Rikki wrap can be purchased in a plain white or with a fun print. The wraps are machine washable, but will not require washing at every nappy change, they can be simply wiped or rinsed as necessary.

The recommendations are to have 2 or 3 wraps of each size to accompany 15 to 20 nappies.

The Rikki wrap has a small gusset style shape which can help to prevent leaks once baby is starting to move around. As the Rikki Wrap features the velcro fastening system it is important to securely close the wrap before washing, to prevent damage to the nappies from the tiny hooks.

The advantage of this style of fastening at night is the nappy can be changed without the need for a light, that maybe necessary with the popper style.
