This little wooden rattle is ideal as a first toy, it is light weight and tactile, the small beads of different shapes including a tiny train will keep little fingers exploring turning and shaking all helping to develop fine motor skills. The bright colours and small faces on the train will attract baby and assist in the development of eye-hand co-ordination.

This toy would be perfect to keep as a stand by in the changing bag, it is not heavy or bulky but would be a great distraction if needed while out. It could be attached to a toy tie if used in the buggy or baby carrier to keep it safe and off the floor.

It can be cleaned with a cloth and warm water but should not be immersed in water for any length of time.

Once baby starts to get teeth it is important to supervise baby and to check to condition of the wood, in case damage occurs, and replace if necessary.
