Cot Bed With Free Foam Mattress
Open ended cot bed in Hazelnut finish open bars to the head and foot giving excellent air circulation around baby, supplied with additional lower foot end for junior bed.
The Westport is styled with flat dowels to all sides giving excellent visibility of baby from all angles. The top rails to the ends are a square shape in solid pine with the rich hazelnut colour finish.
The mattress base can be fitted in a choice of 3 positions with the highest for the young baby from birth to around 5 months, the middle position will suit baby until pulling up to knees then it is essential to place the base in the lowest setting keeping baby safe from harm. The side can be easily lowered with a single-handed action lowering the side for easy access to baby and for changing the linen, without excessive bending. The side bars are protected from the toddler when teething with a protective teething rail.
Once the toddler can escape from the cot it is time to convert the Westport into the junior bed, the foot end of the cotbed is replaced with the extra lower end supplied with the cotbed to produce a stylish junior bed.
When converted to the junior bed the mattress and the bedding will continue to fit, making the transition to a ‘big bed’ easier.
