Compact Lie Flat Buggy Facing Parent
The Visio offers everything for the new mum, compact fold, lie flat position, facing the parent, safe Britax easy fit car seat option, includes apron, shopping basket and raincover.
With lightweight buggies, the baby usually sits looking forwards, away from Mum. This buggy, the Visio, has changed all this. You get the convience of a lightweight chassis, but also the baby looking back towards Mum. The Visio also allows the baby to lie completely flat, on a chassis with a weight of just 10.2kg. The buggy folds easily to a compact 112cm x 36cm x 39cm.
The Visio is Britax’s new baby, taking all the best features found on a baby buggy with the option to add the Britax Cosy Tot to form a convenient safe travel system.
Visio chassis
The chassis has height adjustable handles, sturdy lightweight chassis with lockable front swivel wheels. The foot brake locks and releases both sets of wheels with a simple click that can be done whatever your footwear. The basket is of a good useable size with a side zip for easy access even with the seat in the fully reclined position.
Visio Seat Unit
The full recline on the seat unit means that baby can be placed in the seat facing the parent for those first months. The Visio is supplied with a fully washable comfortable liner on to which baby can lie and a padded apron to protect from the elements.
The apron has been carefully finished with a zip giving plenty of access to baby without having to remove the whole thing. An adjustable calf support can be raised for the young baby but can be placed in a lower position for the older baby and toddler who wants to sit. Should they need a nap the calf support can be raised to support the toddler’s legs ensuring a more relaxed sleeping position.
A removable bumper bar will keep the toddler happy holding on through the ‘tight turns’, but once they want to get into and out of the buggy independently, the bar can be removed to give easier access.
The size adjustable five point harness will ensure toddler is safe and secure at all times with additional D rings for the attachment of a set of reigns.
The large protective hood will reverse on the chassis to accommodate baby facing the parent in the first months, becoming an excellent sun and wind protector for the older child. The Visio is supplied with a multi purpose raincover fitting the buggy in all modes being easily folded away into the shopping basket when not required.
Cosy Tot Option
If you wish to use the Visio as a travel system it is simple to place the Cosy Tot Premium on to the chassis all that is needed is for the fabric on the armrest to be folded back to reveal a pair of clips on to which the seat is lowered using the new Britax ‘Click & Go’ system. The Cosy Tot Premium is available in colours to co-ordinate with your buggy choice.
Optional Cosy Tot Premium
The Cosy Tot Premium is an excellent baby car seat with optimum protection for baby while travelling in the car. The harness is easily adjusted with a one pull system ensuring a snug fit for every journey.
The head support has additional padding to protect from side impact and helping to give a natural sleeping position.
The headrest position is easily altered as baby grows, with a simple one pull adjustment which also alters the harness height. The base has a rocker function that can be made static with the use of the large carry handle. It is to the carry handle that the sun canopy is attached offering protection from the sun and wind. The car seat cover is fully removable for machine washing.
The Cosy Tot Premium is fitted into the car rearward facing either using the adult 3 point seat belt or using the Isofix base that is available separately. The Isofix base attaches to points that may be fitted into your car – you would need to check for the ‘Isofix Fittings’ sign in the rear of your car. This will allow a direct link to be formed between the car chassis and the child seat giving maximum rigidity.
