Description
The Urban Rider from Mutsy offers baby and toddler a comfortable all terrain pushchair, with the stability of a four wheeled buggy. The articulated system sits between the front and back wheels allowing the wheels to turn independently.
Chassis
The stylish aluminium chassis in a coice of colour finish has clean lines with an easily adjusted telescopic handle with a height range of 92 to 114cm, the unit is quick and easy to fold with a self locking system, and is free standing when folded. The four large wheels have been fitted with pneumatic anti puncture tyres and have an easy access air valve, a mini pump has been included. The wheels have a quick release system, this makes the unit more compact when folded but also means that if the wheels are messy they can be removed, protecting carpets/floors from soiling. The total weight of the chassis with the seat unit is 16.25kg
Seat Unit
The Mutsy seat unit can be placed on the Urban Rider chassis facing in either direction, to ensure baby can easily interact with the parent. The seat can be set in a full range of recline positions and can be adjusted in depth as the child grows ensuring a comfortable well supported seating position. The calf support can be adjusted and the bumper bar can be removed to give easy access for the toddler. A large hood has been added to give protection from the sun this gives plenty of space for the seat to be reclined and has a viewing window in the top. A padded 5-point harness will ensure baby or toddler is safe at all times whatever the terrain you are covering.
Optional Additions
To make the Urban Rider suitable for baby from birth you can add either the travel cot or the lie flat car seat, both of these will allow baby to travel on the chassis rear facing in a fully reclined position.
The Safe 2 Go car seat can also be fitted to form a travel system.
With an additional adaptor the chassis will accept the Maxi Cosi CabrioFix car seat; this has the advantage of a base that can be fitted into the car using Isofix mountings.
The Urban Rider can also be fitted with a double seat unit; this can either be purchased with the chassis or as a separate unit.
