Light Weight Travel Cot
Light weight cot that folds into compact carry bag, suitable from 6 months to 3 around years.
The Littlelife travel cot has been designed to fold into a small travel bag and with a weight of just 2.6kgs enabling parents to travel with baby even when space is limited.The packed size is just 53 x 20cm in a tube shape, so will fit into the smallest space in the car, or if necessary it could even fit into a suitcase.
The cot does require a couple of practice runs at putting together before leaving home, speed comes on about the third go! The poles all easily slide into the fabric to form the shape, if it to be used indoors it will require a piece of furniture to anchor it down, tent pegs are supplied for outdoor use.
The sides and top are a light ventilating mesh that will allow air to flow while keeping insects out, the side has a zip to allow a toddler to get in and out with a safety toggle to stop unwanted escapes! The cot can be used without the top mesh in place, and a pocket is built in to keep it safe.
The mattress supplied is foam covered with a bilaminate although it looks thin babies seem to sleep comfortably on it, if extra padding is required a pure lambskin could be a solution without carrying a bulky extra mattress.
When built, the cot measures 120cm long x 52 wide and with a depth of 63cm and it complies with current safety standards BS71771996, EN7161996 and BS74231999.
The geodesic tent design has produced a travel cot with maximum stability and strength once erected, producing a supremely safe and comfortable environment ideal for parents on the move.
A UV sun shade SPF 30 is available if the cot is to be used outdoors, the cot is great if you are going to the beach giving baby a safe place to eat and take a nap.
