Rear Facing Baby Car Seat With Height Adjustable Backrest
Adjustable baby car seat, suitable from birth to 13kgs with adjustable height back rest, allowing baby to use the seat for longer.
The Twin 0+ car seat is suitable from birth and offers excellent side protection, as baby grows the backrest and the harness move together providing baby with a more upright position and extending the side protection. The Twin 0+ is fitted with an easily adjusted 3-point harness; the harness is fitted with additional padding to protect the chest during any impact. The head is completely supported with additional padding for the newborn. The carry handle can be placed behind the seat for easy access to baby and is a comfortable carry position when upright, a small removable hood is included to protect baby from the sun.
Fitting
The Twin 0+ is always fitted into the vehicle in a rearward position this is the only way baby can travel by car until a minimum weight of 9kgs is achieved (around 12 to 18months) the seat is fitted using the adult 3-point seat belt or it can be fitted on the optional Isofix base.
3-point seat belt fitting
When fitted using the adult belts the routings are clearly marked with small blue arrows, the lap belt goes across the seat over the baby’s lap the diagonal belt then goes around the back following the arrows and locking securely in the centre of the rear of the Twin 0+.
Isofix fitting
The optional STM Isofix base is fitted into the car first, easily attaching to the Isofix points in the car; the foot of the base is lowered to the floor. The Twin 0+ can then be simply placed on the base an audible click is made, then the seat and base are slid back towards the rear of the car, no seat belts are then required.
The Twin 0+ is available in a full range of colours and can be purchased as a travel system the STM Speed travel system includes the Twin 0+ car seat in either the Dynamic Red or Magic Style (grey).
A rain cover or insect mesh are available as accessories

The base is able to be re-used to fit the Twin one or the Recaro Young Expert toddler, forward facing car seat.
