Toy Boxes
It may, on the face of it, seem a strange piece of furniture to be looking at when you a have a new baby, but like us, it will not take a very long before you realise how many things this new, small member of the family can accumulate.
The quantity of your child's favourite toys never seems to decrease. You will of course need a toy box of a suitable size, but not so large that your child cannot reach inside to get the toy of their choice and in addition we would also like them be able to refill it after playtime.
Toy Boxes with Lids
If your chosen toy box has a lid, make sure that there is a way of securing that lid open - if not, make sure you add one, there must be no chance of a lid falling down unexpectedly.
When the toy box lid is in the closed position there should be air gaps, either around the lid or around the main body of the box - a toy box makes a super hiding place and having air gaps makes this a safe one. Stacking toy boxes are great, everything stored in order, but never stack too high because they may topple or be used as a climbing frame.
