Toddler Cups & Weaning Sets

Open feeding cups like the Doidy cup, require adult supervision, but can be used from around 4 months, these are recommended by dentists as the impact on teeth from the sugar or acid is far less than with a teat or spout. Others have large bases making it easy to place on a surface without spilling.

Non spill cups have valves and can save your furnishings from constant accidents some require sucking others squeezing so it is worth reading the instructions carefully to help select the right one for your baby or toddler.

Cup Spout & Handles

Avent spouts and handles can be purchased to convert the bottles that you are currently using, keeping the changes gradual into beakers or grown up cups.

Toddler Spoons & Bowls

Spoons for weaning are made from a soft flexible plastic; this is kind to sore gums. Spoons can be purchased with heat sensors telling you if the temperature of the food is correct avoiding a scald. Once baby is feeding themselves, shaped spoons can be useful and even spoons on springs keeping them in place and preventing them from being dropped on the floor.

Bowls are particularly useful if they have a lid keeping food safe until its needed, and being able to be transported ready for feeding. A non slip base or suction base can help keep them in place when baby is starting to feed themselves.

Small Sealed Tubs

These are useful for taking out in your changing bag with your raisins, bread sticks, toast, dry cereal etc for finger feeding while you are out.

Snack Trap

This is a great invention - the small bowl has two handles on the side, the top has a flexible cover allowing for a little hand to go through it, take a treat but with out allowing the rest of the contents to fall out - even when shaken.
