Car sunshades will become an essential as the weather gets warmer, they come in a range of styles and sizes.

Roller & Pop Up Blinds

These have a cassette that can be hooked over the top edge of a car's opening window or can be fixed using suckers, they can then be pulled down when required, showing black on the inside and white on the outside.

These are available to fit the side windows and a large version to fit the back window. They are made of a fine black mesh and have suction cups to allow them to be kept in place, you will find them quick and easy to use and fold compactly. You may find that it is great fun for your toddler to pull them off the window as soon as they can reach, so not necessarily the best option for that age group.

Door Sleeves & Window Film

Door sleeves slide over the whole door and come in a range of sizes and shapes to fit most vehicles, these will allow you to wind the window down, keeping out the sun and any flying insects but allowing ventilation. They are manufactured in a black mesh fabric.

Window film can be trimmed to fit any window, the film adheres to the glass and so tints the window to keep the car cool, similar to privacy glass.

Car Mirrors

Mirrors have become an essential item since airbags were introduced, if baby is in the back of the car rearward facing it is not easy to keep an eye on them. Your natural instinct if baby makes an unusual sound, will be to turn your head before you can assess the risks involved in doing so. A mirror can save you from this reflex action.

Headrest & Windscreen Mirrors

This large round mirror attaches to the headrest above your baby, and enables a good vision of baby from your own rear view mirror.

Windscreen mirrors attach to the glass next to your normal rear view mirror on your windscreen and gives you a view of the whole of the back seat of the car, giving a good view of children in forward facing seats.
