Perfect for babies
Sheepskin is 100% natural. As well as being incredibly soft, it is long lasting and versatile and easy to look after. Whatever the weather, the lambskin will keep your baby at just the right temperature. The densely packed wool fibres keep baby warm and cosy in winter, and in warmer weather, the fibres absorb moisture and release it into the air, keeping baby dry and comfortable. Even with constant use, the fleece will maintain its thick softness, providing supportive and comfortable cushioning. The lambskin takes very little looking after, and the wool is naturally self-sanitizing, so will not need frequent washing. (See care instructions below.)
Care
Daily airing will keep the lambskin fresh. Sponge off small, lightly soiled areas and towel dry where necessary. A complete wash is recommended monthly if using the lambskin for a baby. The lambskin can be brushed lightly after washing to help restore the soft fluffy appearance. Wash using a mild liquid household detergent in warm water (max 38C or 100F). If washing in a machine, use a 'minimum' or 'wool' cycle. Do not use soap or washing powders containing enzymes or bleach or fabric softeners. Rinse thoroughly in warm water. Line dry or tumble dry on 'cool' or 'warm' setting. Keep out of direct sunlight when drying. The lambskin can be dry cleaned.
