It is now the law in the U.K. that any child under the height of 135cm or 4’5” this is around the age of 12 years. Once the child is a weight of 15kg it is possible to just use a booster seat, although a booster with a back fitted would offer much more protection during any impact especially side impacts, helping prevent head and neck injuries. The Britax Sprint booster has the seat fully covered in a comfortable material, the arm rests can be adjusted in height, helping to add to the hip protection. A adjustment clip will allow you to adjust the adult belt to sit to the correct position on the child’s shoulder preventing the seat belt from coming across the child’s neck or face, this is easily adjusted once the child is sat in place.
Pull-out cup holder and a snack holder will help to ensure the child remains seated while on longer journeys.
No booster seat should be used in vehicles fitted with a passenger air bag unless the car manufacturer confirms it is safe to do so.
The Sprint is available in a range of colours, the cover is removable and machine washable.
