The Solo Pushchair offers all the advantages of the Jane Pro System (simple ‘click fitting’ without the need for adaptors) easily accepting the range of Jane car seats or the Capazo carrycot to produce a 3 in 1 pram or travel system, without the bulk or weight of the other models.
The chassis of the Solo weighs just 8.5kg with a stylish oval concept frame, giving strength without compromising weight - an adjustable suspension on the rear wheels for the child’s comfort. The linked brake system to the rear are simultaneous by means of a discreet wire running through the frame leaving an open space between the rear wheels for your walking stride. The pushing handle is of a single bar design thus allowing the pushchair to be managed with just one hand - essential if you need to hold the hand of a toddler walking next to you. The height of the handle can be adjusted from 91 to 110cm, making the Solo ideal for the taller parent.
The chassis can be folded and unfolded with a single hand having an easy to manage safety lock and secure auto-lock when collapsed; the unit is also free standing. The low-profile front wheels also have suspension fitted; the easy steer swivel mode is perfect on solid terrain or around town and can easily be locked to a fixed position for gravel or slightly rougher terrains.
The seat unit has been designed for a child from birth to around 4 years; the backrest can be reclined to a choice of 5 positions. The fully reclined position is almost flat with the adjustable calf support offering a comfortable sleeping position. The seat unit can only be used facing away from the parent, but when the optional carrycot or car seats are fitted baby is rear facing. The seat is fitted with a fully adjustable 5 point harness and a front bumper bar. A large hood will protect baby from the elements offering a good level of UV protection through the double layer of fabric, a pocket can be found in the back of the hood, perfect for keeping your mobile phone and purse close at hand, below the seat is a good sized shopping basket with a draw-string closure.
The Solo can be purchased as a pushchair, or with the Rebel car seat, the Matrix car seat or with the Capazo carrycot. When used with the Matrix car seat or the Capazo carrycot the seat back and all fabrics can be removed to give the impression of a traditional pram. All the additional parts are fitted directly onto the chassis without the need for any adaptors using the Jane click and fit system.
