New Phil and Teds Sports / SP Buggy

Following the success of the Explorer and the Explorer E3, Phil and Teds have introduced the Sports Buggy. An all terrain 3 wheel buggy, fitted with a lockable front swivel wheel, and all round 12” pneumatic tyres that will ensure a comfortable ride whatever the terrain.

Single Buggy

The Sports Buggy will adapt to your family without a fuss! The 1st baby can use the buggy lying completely flat either facing the parent or facing away. This can be lying directly on the seat fabric or tucked snugly into a cocoon carrier, or for the summer lying on a soft natural lambskin, both of these can be purchased as accessories, whichever way, baby will be gently rocked to sleep in the free swinging seat unit. once baby wishes to sit-up the seat can be raised using a combination of zips and clips to achieve a comfortable position. The seat is able to accommodate baby right through to around 5 years, or 25kg. The SP has been fitted with a new 5 point harness to keep the baby/toddler or child safely in place. The front bumper bar is always a favourite with toddler to hold on to, and this forms part of the frame for attaching a car seat if you wish to use the SP as part of a travel system, the other parts required to fit a car seat can be purchased as a travel system kit.

The hood will help to protect baby from the weather and has UV protected windows, should further protection be needed a sun mesh or storm cover are available, these cover the buggy either as a single or double.

Should your family expand to 2 children the Sports Buggy will happily change and adapt with just the small expense of a second child seat.

Double Buggy

The Sport will simply change and adapt, should you have a newborn baby and a toddler, the main seat is fully reclined, baby is then placed in the seat with feet forwards and face up towards the handle. The additional double kit is then fitted onto the front of the buggy into the bumper bar slots. This seat is for the older child, the seat has a five point harness to keep the toddler safe.

Once baby needs to sit-up (2 toddlers) the front seat is removed, it is then fitted on the back of the buggy, the toddler is then placed in the original seat and the baby goes into the extra seat behind the toddler, still having eye contact with parent.

The new Sport has been fitted with a quick release system for the wheels, the fold is very simple and makes a compact shape, a carry bag is available for safe storage while travelling by plane, this bag has shoulder straps making it possible to hold the hands of 2 children and carry the buggy!
