Ride On Toys
A ride on toy will generally be used first as a walking aid to steady baby during those first tentative steps.
When choosing the toy should be well balanced, and steady and capable of taking an amount of downward pressure with out tipping, (when used to hoist themselves back to their feet).

The Wheelybugs from Australia are a winner; they are available in two sizes and can be used from around 10 months to 6 years. These are made from a base of polished wood with a soft padded leatherette top in the shape of friendly bugs or even a black and white cow, (complete with horns).
