Foam Square Ended Mattress

Available in a full range of sizes (or made to measure) this mattress will fit prams, cribs, or carrycots that have a square end shaping. The mattress is made from foam without any phosphorous, antimony or arsenic based treatments.

The cover is removable and can be machine washed, although it may be a good idea to use a additional mattress protector.

The mattress is approximately 4cm deep and has holes at one end for ventilation and to allow the heat to dissipate. It is important to always provide a new mattress for each baby, as it is thought the mattress could absorb bacteria found within the lungs. This is harmless to the baby as they are found within that babys breathing system, but could be harmful to a different baby.

The recommendations by health visitors and midwives are to sleep baby at the bottom of the crib or cot feet to foot, this prevents baby from slipping down under the covers and becoming overheated.

Fitted sheets are available to fit all sizes in white or cream.
