Patience is essential during potty training - but as this cannot be purchased it would be worth investing in protection for car seats, dining chairs and mattresses. The most common times for an 'accident' is when there are other distractions or when your toddler is tired, so do remember to ask more often at these times whether your child needs their potty.

Training Briefs

Training pants are a good idea when venturing out as they will protect outfits and soft furnishings while still being able to contain an accident. It is not a good idea to revert back to a nappy or other absorbent pull up as this sends the message that using the potty is not a permanent part of life.
