The Luxbond mattress is perfect for hot babies, the high-density, hollow fibre polyester filling allows for all round ventilation. The whole mattress is made from non-PVC materials, and is fully water resistant. It is believed that the air permeable core containing thousands of spring fibres do not harbour the growth of allergens that could be the cause of some cases of asthma and eczema, and also helps to protect from dust mites.

The breathable cover is fully removable, has strengthened taped edges, it is water resistant it can also be machine washed at 60 degrees.

It is important to keep baby cool while sleeping, midwives and health visitors recommend that baby should sleep at the bottom of the cot ‘Feet to Foot’ this can prevent baby from slipping under the covers, and becoming overheated. A cot divider is also a way of reducing the risk of baby moving down the cot during the night.
