The Original Baby Bjorn carrier will allow you to move around with baby while leaving your hands free to cope with chores in and around the home and while out walking.
Baby can be placed in the Original carrier from 8lbs in weight or 3.5kg and can be carried until a weight of 22lbs this is around 12 months.
Adult Harness
All adjustments of the carrier are made to the front making it very easy to put on and adjust without the need of another person. The baby section can be completely removed from the adult section, enabling it to be put on before disturbing baby. The shoulder straps are wide and well padded for total comfort and good weight distribution.
Baby Section
The baby section of the Original carrier is made from a soft cotton fabric with plenty of comfortable padding. The head support is used fully extended for the first months with baby placed in the carrier to face the parent. Once baby can support the weight of their head baby can be placed in the carrier to face outwards with the head support folded back and secured into place. All fitting have been carefully designed to be safe and secure but easy to undo when required. The length of the original carrier can be altered as baby grows to ensure baby is carried at the optimal level on the body to ensure a comfortable position.
Made from 100% cotton the carrier and harness is fully washable at 40 degrees.
