Nursery / Bedroom Light Fittings
The ceiling light can create a mood and is the starting point for the room's lighting, either blending with décor or making a statement.
These ceiling lights are not lamp shades, they are complete light fittings and will need care to fit. They all come with easy to follow instructions, but caution must always be exercised when dealing with electricity.
The collection of ceiling lights is both fun and functional. Many of the lights can have wall lights or desk lights co-ordinating with them. Ceiling lights are rarely in the right position, so unless they can be repositioned you may be better off considering the light merely as a decorative one, and adding other lights for optimal functionality and aesthetics.
Children spend a lot of time playing on the floor. When planning the lighting for the room, remember to keep this area near the floor illuminated.
All the lights use standard round or low energy bulbs. These are much safer than the candle shaped bulb, but they will of course get hot so a child must never be lifted to reach up to the light. The lights have been designed to prevent any toys being able to get lodged in the fitting causing a fire hazard. Ensure the fitting sits close to the ceiling.
The collection includes the following designs:
Pirate Ship - with white sails and the Jolly Roger flag.
Meria - a flower with butterflies dancing below.
Monty - flies up to the ceiling in his hot air balloon.
Avigo - the nose-cone of a plane with coloured planes flying below.
Lunardo - a little man who sits on the moon.
Flo is a bird and Max a rabbit. (These are simple fittings with a face that clips on to the horizontal bulb.)
Yumbo - a bi-plane in bright colours.
