Breast-milk storage bottles can be used directly with Medela breast pumps; the milk can then be refrigerated or frozen.
Made from polypropylene this is the safest plastic for the storage of breast milk and will retain the breastmilks beneficial properties. The bottles and milk can be refrigerated for up to 7 days at 32 to39 degrees or they can be frozen. The milk is able to be stored up to 1 year in the deep freeze.
The storage bottles can be used directly onto any of the Medela breast pumps each bottle comes with a sealing disc and screw top.The breast milk can then be fed to baby directly from the bottle once thawed, Medela do not recommend any teats, but the standard sized teats will fit these bottles. To have a small amount of breast milk in reserve is always useful to have, in the correct containers breastmilk can be stored in the freezer for up to 1 year.
