The Mura from Maxi Cosi has been produced with baby’s total comfort in mind, the seat is fully padded throughout and with a full recline facility; the chassis has full suspension.
Mura Seat
The seat unit has many unique features. Its structure looks like the shell of a car seat with deep protective side wings and sumptuous removable and fully washable padded liner. The harness also looks like that found in a car seat with additional protective pads, to the front of the child is a ‘handle bar’ style bumper bar. This allows the child to think that they are in control of their buggy! With the bar going between the legs the child is kept safe and secure. The Mura seat can be placed on the chassis facing the parent or facing away; it is easily removed and replaced with a simple click. The full recline will allow baby to lie in a flat position and is sufficiently large to give the toddler a comfortable place for a nap. A sun canopy is also included. This slides directly onto the chassis and has a light parachute-like fabric extension to cover the back of the seat when in the reclined position. The calf support will ensure the legs are fully supported while baby is young when raised to the upper position.
Mura Chassis
The chunky oval frame has a fully height adjustable handle with comfortable padding to the push bar. The large tray under the seat unit will enable a good amount of shopping to be carried or the optional baby shoulder bag has been designed to slide into this space. The chassis can be folded with the seat unit remaining in place when fitted in the forward facing mode, (although a neater fold is achieved when the seat is removed).
Mura 3
The front wheels on the Mura 3 are close together giving the appearance and versatility of a 3 wheeler buggy. The front wheels can be allowed to swivel freely while travelling over smooth terrains, perfect for shopping trips to town. The lock on the front wheel will ensure the wheels stay straight. This is essential when negotiating rough terrain, sand or gravel. All wheels are fitted with a quick release system allowing the buggy to fold to a very compact size but also making it possible to wash and clean the wheels easily after muddy walks. All wheels are fitted with pneumatic tyres with inner tubes and a pump is included in the large shopping basket to make it possible to keep them pumped to the optimum pressure.
Pram Body
The pram body is a rigid carrycot that fits directly on to the chassis (wthout the seat unit) it faces towards the parent and has a large hood with carry handle. The soft padded inner lining is fully removable secured in place by velcro and being fully washable. The apron will protect from the wind and light rain although a raincover will be required during persistent rain. A pair of buttons to the side of the hood will allow the hood to be lowered without any sound to disturb the sleeping baby. The Pram body is not suitable for baby to sleep overnight.
Multi Bag
The Maxi Cosi Nursery / Multi Purpose Bag is shaped and sized to fit perfectly under the Mura 3 in the storage basket. The bag has a changing mat and plenty of storage pockets to accommodate baby or toddler nappy changing accessories. The shoulder strap can be adjusted to your preferred length, either to carry on the shoulder or across the body or to place over the pushchair handle.
Footmuff
Working with the unique ‘handle bar’ design to the front of the Mura 3 the footmuff has two separate legs these can be unzipped to accommodate a toddler with shoes or boots. The lower section of the front stops mid-way up the child’s chest with a pair of ‘wings’ that come around the arms and body securing with Velcro across the child making a very warm ‘bundle’. The top finishes as a warm snug hood with draw string for a comfortable fit from around 3 months to around 3 years.
Cabriofix
To turn the Mura into a travel system all that is required is to purchase the Maxi Cosi Cabriofix infant car seat; this will clip easily into the adaptors supplied for an instant convenient travel system.
The Cabriofix car seat can be fitted into the car using the adult 3 point seat belt or by adding a base for a simple one click fit
