The idea of the travel system came to the UK from the USA and are defined as a pram or buggy combined with a first stage car seat/ infant carrier.

When buying a travel system it is important to remember that your baby should not be in the car seat for longer than two hours without being lifted out and allowed to stretch, this will give their lungs a chance to fully inflate.
