The Matilda toy box has a raised edge to the side and back as found on the Matilda changer chest, and on the ends of the swinging crib. The toy box will give a great storage place for baby bedding in those first months and can then be used as a toy box as the child gets older, - perhaps returning to a blanket box in the distant future.
The toy box has a lift-up lid with safety hinge and air gap should the box be a hiding place during a game of hide and seek. The upper surface can be used for puzzles, drawing or as a place to sit and share a story.
Matilda Toy Chest has been produced from Queensland managed plantation Araucaria timber, with dove tail joints and a 5 year warranty.
