Complete 3 in 1 Wicker Pram
A 3 in 1 baby pram with the carrycot constructed of natural wicker, supplied with choice of classic or compact chassis, coming complete with seat unit and accessories.
Carrycot
Traditional styled pram with the additional delight of a natural wicker carrycot, offering baby the best possible ventilation. The natural weave allows air to flow freely into and around the carrycot as well as being very pleasing on the eye. The wicker carrycot would be perfect for babies living in hot climate or summer babies. The wicker is topped with a leatherette hood and apron in white making it perfect for both boys and girls. The inside of the carrycot is lined with machine washable cotton-rich fabric, and is supplied with a comfortable Rochingham mattress. The mattress has a PVC free Nu-Tec wipe clean cover for hygiene and has been produced from foam with ventilation air holes to the top section; the outer cover has a zip fitting to remove for hand-washing.
The base of the carrycot can be raised at the head end giving the older baby the chance to sit more comfortably in the pram.
Seat unit
The pram is supplied with a seat unit for the toddler this is in the white leatherette fabric and can be fitted to the chassis facing the parent or away. The seat is fitted with an adjustable harness to keep baby or toddler safe; the backrest can be set in a range of positions from completely reclined to a good upright position for a toddler, with 3 midway options. The calf support can be raised to produce a good sized sleeping area measuring 31 x 60cm and can be dropped down to form a comfortable toddler foot rest. The hood from the carrycot is used on the seat unit to provide extra protection from the weather; a footmuff is included in the package, this fits into the seat unit to provide a warm, snug winter buggy. The top of the footmuff can be removed in the summer to leave a soft fleece liner to the seat, also protecting the seat fabric from any accidents.
Accessories
A colour co-ordinated sun parasol and matching pram bag are also included in the Lux 3 in 1 pram package, the only additions that you will need to purchase is the Zippy rain cover, and adaptors and car seat if you wish to use the chassis as part of a travel system.
Chassis
The Lux Wicker pram comes with a choice of chassis, depending on your circumstances the chassis can be of the traditional sprung style with four large wheels fitted with large wire shopping tray below, or a compact umbrella folding chassis,the S3D, ideal for confined spaces or for ease of putting into the car boot.
Large Chassis
The large classic styled chassis is perfect for walking out with baby in the country (not too rough a ground please) and over most terrains, it is slightly bulkier for towns but not unmanageable, it will fit through a standard doorway and many shops now have power assisted doors for disabled access, helping Mums with prams too. You will find that you walk faster and with a more upright position, much better for your back; the handle is height adjustable to make it easy to manage up and down curbs. The large shopping tray will accommodate a couple of days essential shopping, or the family’s jumpers and jackets while on a summer outing to the park or beach. A stand-on board is available to accommodate a toddler standing behind the pram, tucked in under the handle holding on to the carrycot or seat unit.
The large classic chassis is available in a Glitter, Graphite, Champagne or Chrome (the chrome is a slightly heavier weight).
Compact S3D Chassis
The compact chassis has lockable front swivel wheels, perfect for around town; all wheels have suspension giving baby a comfortable ride. The fold of the chassis is into umbrella shape making it much easier to manoeuvre into the boot of the car. The handles are height adjustable and the carrycot and seat unit both fit easily, the seat unit can be fitted facing either direction and an adapter is available to accommodate a Rock-A-Tot car seat from Britax form a compact travel system.
