Windoo Carcot With Loola Buggy
When the Windoo carrycot is teamed up with the Loola chassis, it produces a compact folding travel system. This would be ideal in a very small car as the Loola chassis has a telescopic folding action, with a folded size of 26 x 30 x 92cm fitting in the smallest of car boots.
The Windoo carrycot can then be clipped directly onto the back seat, baby has no need to be lifted out or be disturbed. The cot will give all the protection of a car seat, meeting all the same stringent standards as an infant carrier.When baby is travelling flat you do not have any maximum time that baby can travel undisturbed, as the lungs are able to inflate in the normal way, without the weight of baby's head bearing down on the chest. Baby will be able to digest food easily as the tummy will be in the ideal extended position, with free leg movement.
As the carcot is fitted with a comfortable mattress and the head has a normal amount of movement from side to side the head shape will remain rounded rather than the flattened shape that can occur in babies using infant carriers for a prolonged period.The Windoo is a group 0 and can be safely used from birth, even with babies with a low birth weight (these are babies that are most at risk from the use of traditional infant carriers), until baby weighs 10kgs this is around 9 months of age. The next stage car seat that is fitted forward facing starts from 9kgs, so baby could go from the Windoo into a stage 1 seat
