Breast Feeding Chair With Lumber Support
Contemporary designed breastfeeding chair developed to enable a comfortable fully supported feeding position.
The Kensington Breastfeeding Chair has been designed and developed with the assistance of Dr Lynn Jones MA PhD who herself is the principle lecturer in furniture design for the Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College. When doing the research for the chair it was discovered that the breast feeding rates in the UK are much lower than other European countries. This could be because of discomfort while breast feeding as it is difficult to position yourself in a normal chair without the use of bulky cushions.
The Kensington Breastfeeding Chair is very different in design to other chair marketed in the UK for the breast feeding of baby, the breast feeding chair has short legs this allows the feet to be placed firmly on the floor forming a comfortable lap on to which baby can lie. The back of the Kensington feeding chair is shaped to provide excellent lower back support with an additional inflatable lumber support, which can be easily pumped to give ultimate comfort. The seat has been shaped to enable a toddler to perch with the mother while she feeds a younger sibling.
The Kensington chair has been covered with extremely versatile stretch fabric in a wide choice of colours that is fully stain resistant, waterproof, antifungal, antibacterial and UV resistant this makes the chair suitable not only for use in the home but in hospitals and birthing centres.
Once the Kensington chair becomes part of the family it will go on being used for many years after the children have stopped breast feeding.
