Easy to grip baby rattle, made in Germany by Hess-Spielzeug who specialise in wooden baby toys. The toy is easy to handle and pick up, as it does not lie completely flat when put down on a surface, encouraging finger thumb co-ordination by baby. The paint used is completely safe for baby if chewed - it is nontoxic and environmentally friendly, the toy will need to be checked regularly for damage as baby's teeth begin to appear, replacing the toy if necessary. The multi coloured beads that keep little fingers busy are tested for safety with a pull test of 90 Newtons as required to meet the European standard.
It is possible to secure this type of toy from baby gyms or babys infant carrier by attaching to a toy tie, this would also be recommended if using a back carrier, as you would not notice the rattle being dropped.
