Jane Isofix Booster Seat
Fully adjustable booster seat, fitted into your car using the car's Isofix fittings, recline and adjustable back, changing in height and width to accommodate the growing child from 15 to 36kgs.Your child is held in place by the car's 3-point seat belt.
The Isofix fitting on the Indy Plus will give extra stability to the booster seat, reducing movement during a side impact accident, also when the child is not in the seat the seat will not become a danger to passengers because it will be permanently anchored. Isofix fittings are fitted to the chassis of the car at the time of manufacture and cannot be retro fitted, if you do not have Isofix fittings the Indy Plus can still be used - the seat and child are then held in place using the adult 3-point seat belt.
The Indy Plus is suitable for children from 15kgs this is around 4 years, they also need to be sensible as the seat belt will be free running so the child must keep the belt in the correct place to ensure total protection. The seat belt will feed through a guide attached to the headrest, this is height adjustable ensuring the seat belt is always in the ultimate position.
The sides of the Indy Plus can be adjusted in width to accommodate your child’s build or possibly re-adjusted when bulky clothing is being worn, the armrests have 3 positions to increase comfort and safety. The seat cover is of a quilted fabric to give good air circulation and comfort for even longer journeys. When used on the Isofix fittings the Indy Plus can be used in a choice of 3 recline positions.
The Indy Plus has an aluminium structure, this has been shown to offer 70% more protection than other traditional systems, it has been extensively tested at the ‘state of the art’ Jane research laboratory, and has been independently tested and approved to the latest ECE R44/04 standard.
The booster cushion can be used separately from the back should you wish, creating a simple booster seat, this will reduce the protection offered to your child, but would be safer than no seat at all, and would meet the UK law on the requirement for children to travel on an appropriate safety seat, the booster cushion must not be used before 15kgs.
