Home Safety Guards & Protectors

It is so important to make your home baby safe at the point baby becomes mobile whether from crawling or using a baby walker. Table cloths need clips to prevent them from being pulled, sockets need covers and video and TV controls need to be child proof. Washing machines and tumble dryers need the doors locked. Cleaning equipment cupboards need to be made safe, locks are available to fit all styles of cupboards and drawers. Once the fridge has been raided you will find a fridge lock most useful, you may even need to lock the toilet seat closed.

Toddler & Child Protection

Sharp corners on tables should be fitted with cushions to protect little faces from bumps. When baby is cruising around the room fingers can easily get shut in doors - so door stops and slam stoppers not only save little fingers but can also stop baby from locking themselves in a room. Any glass should be checked to be sure if it is a safety glass - this will go into small pieces rather than sharp shards if broken, if you are unsure an invisible safety film should be fitted to make it safe. If furniture is near windows or the windows are within reach then window locks should be fitted long before you realise baby or toddler has learnt to climb.
