Cosatto Hogarth Cot Bed with Mattress and Musical Mobile

The Hogarth is a striking cot with chunky profiles and sweeping curved head/foot rails, and has single handed drop side.
As a cot for the young baby the base can be placed in the upper of the three positions giving easy access to baby, the drop side will lower easily to protect the new mothers back reducing the bending. Once baby starts to move around the base is lowered to the central position, leaving the lowest position for when the child is standing and wanting to escape.
The end panels are of a solid construction this is perfect if you are planning to sleep baby at the foot of the cot in the recommended ‘feet to foot’ position, helping prevent the baby from being able to wriggle under the covers possibly becoming overheated. The side bars are flat design with a teething rail running along the top; this prevents the cot becoming damaged when the child starts to teethe.
The Hogarth comes in a choice of finish to complement the nursery dark Walnut was new for 2007 while the Light Country Pine has been a favourite for a number of years; the matt Cream finish is perfect for the modern home.
Junior Bed
When the toddler starts to escape from the cot it is time to convert the Hogarth to the junior bed, this is very easy to achieve with both sides and the bottom of the foot end being removed. This reveals a stylish junior bed with tall head board and lower foot board, the mattress base is replaced in the lowest setting. The mattress and bedding that are familiar to the toddler can remain in use helping with the transition to the ‘big person’s’ bed. The junior bed remains useful until the child is around 5 years of age, or until it is necessary to be changed back into a cot for another baby, so it is important to keep all the fittings safe.
Mattress
The recommended size of mattress for the Cosatto Hogarth is 140 x 70cm and we are pleased to be able to offer a free foam mattress with the cotbed.
Should you prefer you can upgrade to a polyester fibre filled mattress this will help to keep baby cool or a deluxe spring mattress, both incur a small additional charge.
