Basic Highchairs
A basic highchair will give you a place to feed baby enabling them to sit near to your dining table at a similar height. Basic highchairs are normally a fixed height, with one seat position and one tray position. When folded they are quite tall but flat so easily stand behind a door, the seats are wipe clean and a harness helps to keep baby safe and secure.
Height Adjustable Chairs
Adjustable high chairs are ideal if you wish to sit on the floor or sofa to feed baby, the height will be able to be set at just the right height for your dining table, many of these chairs can be used without the tray enabling you to push the chair right up to the table, with baby eating on the table top rather than on a tray. These highchairs fold while in the lowest setting making them compact when folded and easy to store. They have a harness and foot support and may mean it is unnecessary to purchase a booster seat.
Wooden Highchairs
Modern highchairs are fully adjustable from young baby, evolving and growing with the infant to form a booster seat and eventually may be a regular computer chair! These are supplied with D rings so you will need to purchase a harness to keep baby safe and secure. They generally come without cushions but if you chose to add them they are soft fabrics that will require washing.
Seat Harnesses
Harnesses allow your baby or child to sit safely whether it is in a high chair or a normal dining chair. Most harnesses are 3 point harnesses, which hold your baby securely but comfortably, enabling you to enjoy relaxing family meals.
