Adaptable Car Seat Suitable From Around 1 Year to 12 Years

The Grand Tour Car Seat from Neonato will easily adapt to the growing child, it is suitable for toddler from 9kg used with the five point harness. Once the child reaches 15kg the harness can be removed, the seat is then used with the back left in place to protect from side impacts with the adult seat belt through the guide to prevent it from moving from the shoulder. From 22kg the base of the seat can be used as a booster cushion for the older child up to 12 years.

Group 1

The seat is fitted into the car using the adult 3point seat belt; the child is then secured into the seat with the integral 5 point harness. The 5 point harness has been fitted with large chest protection pads, and a single pull harness to ensure you can get a correct fit for every journey. The back and sides of the seat have been padded for extra protection of the smaller child during any side impact.

Group 2

As a group 2 seat the Grand Tour is simply placed on the vehicle seat the child is seated on top the then the safety belt is placed over both the seat and the child. The seat belt can then be placed through the guide to ensure it sits on the shoulder in the optimum position. It is recommended to use the seat with the back in place for a long as possible, as protection from side impacts is compromised when the back is removed.

Group 3

The group 3 seat is the base of the seat used alone; this is not recommended until the child weighs 22kg or around 8 years. The booster simply sits on the car seat with the child on top, with the adult 3 point seat belt following the guide under the arm rest.

This seat makes a good value option for grandparents that need a seat that will adapt to a range of children or that will not need changing for a number of years.
