Foam mattress for the cot or cotbed with a removable machine washable cover. The mattress has been produced without the use of any phosphorous, antimony or arsenic based treatments.
It is important to protect baby from overheating, many midwives and health visitors are recommending that baby should sleep at the bottom of the cot with their feet at the bottom of the cot, in the ‘Feet to Foot’ position, this will prevent baby from wriggling under the covers and possibly overheating, as the head loses more heat than the rest of the body, once the head is covered baby’s temperature can quickly rise.
The mattress cover is removable and can be washed, but we would recommend that an additional mattress protector be used, as the mattress should not be used while the cover is not in place.
The Foam mattress is available in a full range of sizes, or we can have one made to measure for bespoke or unusual sized cots or junior beds.
