The shawl has a small weight in one corner so that this can be worn over mum’s shoulder and will not keep slipping down. Care should be taken when arranging the blanket to avoid the weighted edge brushing the baby.
As well as providing a calm space for baby to feed, the shawl can provide mum with privacy while she is breastfeeding her baby. The shawl is ideal for use in public places.
